Light Up A Life
1989
The first Light Up A Life remembrance service was first held in the Lobby of Wilson Memorial Hospital. It then moved to the Wilson Memorial Hospital Board Room and from there to the Wilson Memorial Hospital Cafeteria, Sidney Holiday Inn and the Cameo. Each time Light Up A life moved to a new location, it was due to the need for a larger facility to accommodate the number of people attending.
In 1999, Light Up A life was expanded to include the entire community rather than just those who have had family members pass through Hospice.
