The Wilson Memorial Hospital Foundation is very fortunate to have the fine men and women listed below serving as members of the Wilson Memorial Hospital Foundation Board.
In addition to being community-minded citizens, they are your friends and family and, on occasion, patients at Wilson Memorial. As such, they have your best interests at heart and work diligently giving not only financially, but also generously of their time and expertise, to ensure that the Wilson Memorial Hospital Foundation is governed to the very best of their ability.
A MESSAGE FROM FRANK GILARDI, FOUNDATION BOARD CHAIRMAN
Dear Friends of Wilson,
We have a tremendous asset in our community hospital. Through our need of health care services, we are reminded of how important it is to support Wilson’s mission and the need to remain under local control.
The Wilson Memorial Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. As the only fundraising entity, it exists solely to contribute to the financial support and betterment of Wilson Memorial Hospital. With the changing landscape of government and insurance reimbursement for services, as well as the importance of maintaining the latest technology, supporting the Foundation is more important than ever before. Keeping our hospital strong will benefit all of us.
In 2004 we introduced The Wilson Society for the purpose of growing the general endowment fund, which serves the hospital by providing funds for specific medical needs as determined by the hospital Board of Trustees. The Wilson Society members are people who have made a commitment to include the hospital in their estate planning. We look forward to including more community members in The Wilson Society to help us provide for the future healthcare needs of the people in our community. We extend the opportunity to you to join us in this important commitment by becoming a member.
When you support Wilson, you help ensure that health care needs are met locally, and are available when you, a family member or a neighbor needs them most. We encourage your consideration to join us in providing for the medical needs of future generations.
